Hungate Community Fund (York)
Hungate Community Fund
The Hungate Community Fund has been established by Hungate York Regeneration Ltd, the developer of the Hungate Regeneration project in York to support local charitable and community activity. The fund will distribute up to £25k per annum to small voluntary and community groups, small charities and other types of not for profit organisation provided that the purpose of the funded activity is wholly charitable.
Funding is available for projects which address the following areas of need:
Reducing inequality & hidden poverty
Improving health & wellbeing
Promoting good mental health
Reducing loneliness & social isolation
In this round, particular priority will be given to groups working to support personal or community development by increasing skills & educational attainment.
Size of grants
Grants are available of between £200 and £2000 (the panel may in exceptional circumstances exercise discretion and award up to £5000 however this is entirely at the discretion of the panel and groups should only apply for up to £2000).
Who can apply?

Groups also need to be operating in the City of York (within the boundary of the area served by City of York council).
