Great news the Government have agreed Volleyball England's plan for return to play.
It's the news we've all been waiting for!
Volleyball England is delighted to announce that the Government has given the green light for competitive indoor volleyball, beach volleyball and outdoor 6v6 volleyball to return
Crucially, competitions should only resume once the necessary risk assessments and safety plans are in place and when organisers are confident that Government, venue and Volleyball England advice can be followed.
Detailed guidance documents for 6v6 indoor, 2v2 beach and 6v6 outdoor volleyball can be read in full on the web page.
Sue Storey, Chief Executive of Volleyball England, said: "We are extremely happy to announce the Government has confirmed that our plans are in line with their guidance. This means we have been given the green light to get back on the sand, the grass and the court and play our sport again, both in training and competitively. We are still working hard on our plans for the return of sitting volleyball and hope to to have some positive news to share soon.”
