Sitting Volleyball PPE equipment will be with the teams next week.

With the support of a Sport England ‘Return to Play’ grant to provide a COVID compliant net and PPE and cleaning equipment, sitting volleyball will be a step nearer getting back on court as the lockdown comes to an end.

“Volleyball England is waiting to hear from the Government about what restrictions will be placed upon the outdoor game, which can start again from the 29th March. The chance to get back and play indoors won’t happen until 12th April at the earliest for juniors and 17th of May at the earliest for adults.”

In preparation Steroplast have been busily getting our PPE and cleaning equipment ready to send out to the teams.

Each bag will contain face coverings, disposable aprons and gloves, bottles of hand sanitiser, antibacterial wipes and spray bottles to clean the nets before and after use. Steroplast have made the bags specifically for us and we are grateful for their support in pulling the kit bags together.

The bags are now being boxed and will be with the courier later today and arriving at the clubs by the end of next week.

Once again thank you to Steroplast for your continued support.
