IMPROVING COMMUNITY WELL BEING (Seven Trent Region)

IMPROVING COMMUNITY WELL BEING

Severn Trent Water has announced that local projects, charities and community groups in the Severn Trent region will be able to apply for a share of £10million of funding which is being made available over the next five years.

Funding will be available for projects that improve community wellbeing by:

  • Helping people to lead a healthier life and gain new skills;

  • Helping create better places to live in and use;

  • Helping to look after the natural environment, giving people greater access to that environment or helping look after water.

Applications for projects with a connection to the water cycle will be particularly welcome, i.e. creating sustainable drainage, installing grey water recycling or creating water efficient green spaces.
