Who we fund
We accept applications from charities or charitably incorporated institutions, community interest companies, community benefit societies and schools subject to them meeting our eligibility criteria.
Priority is given to Bristol based organisations and those that use volunteers. We prefer to fund either small organisations to ensure that our grant has an impact or local branches of national charities which are based within the City. Programmes delivered locally by organisations working on a national basis, are less likely to be supported.
We will accept applications from voluntary and community organisations in respect of small capital projects, and also from community groups towards hire or other similar costs where the majority of members are over 65, particularly in the most disadvantaged areas of Bristol.
Please note that we do not accept applications from:
Individuals
Religious organisations with no, or limited, secular activity
Animal welfare charities
