American - Pro Women's Volleyball League
Last year Volleyball Development Camps posted about a new Pro Women’s Volleyball league launching in USA with a uniquely different scoring system.
Tonight sees the first matches being played.
It is going to be interesting to see how this radically new concept works in practice. Players are drafted into different teams each week, the leading 4 players in rankings are the captains and they pick their teams. The matches are 3 sets, with ALL the sets being played, ranking points are awarded for set wins AND the overall Total points as well as the Individual Stats as detailed here, oh and a public MVP vote..
Like we said RADICALLY different - It all kicks off at 10pm this evening with free to view streams on Facebook, YouTube etc.
