Venue:  The Big Field, Kiln Lane, Brockham, near Dorking, Surrey. RH3 7LZ

Covid safety is our first concern. The competition, food sales, BBQ, results tables and volleyball equipment and kit sales will all be outside, using gazebos for protection from sun and rain. Indoor Toilets and showers are available throughout the day using covid safety rules.

The Rules for competition are attached; you will receive your match schedule by 24th June, this will be confirmed when you register. All teams are guaranteed at least 4 games. Players may only play in one team. Divisions are based on 8 teams playing in pools of 4 then play offs to decide positions or 5 teams all playing one another with the top 2 teams playing in a final.

Car Parking CAR PARKING IS FREE ON SITE. When you arrive, you will be directed to a parking place on the field. Please do not park near the courts or the footpath next to the road as the field is National Trust property and we must leave plenty of room for any walkers using the site, stay within the coned areas. You will be parking on sports pitches so drive carefully and slowly to avoid any damage.  Heavy vehicles to use car parks as directed.

Registration Arrive in plenty of time to register. The car parks will open from 8.45.a.m. Games start at 10.00.a.m. registration from 9.15.a.m. If you are not ready to play then your opposition can claim the first set after 5 minutes and the whole game after 10 minutes. The games will all start on time; we will not wait for late comers. 

BAR-B-Q and refreshments on sale: Quarter Pounder Hamburgers £3.50, hot dogs £2.50, bacon rolls £2.50, sandwiches and rolls £2.00, tea, coffee, canned drinks £1.00, water 60p and energy drinks £1.20, cakes and chocolate bars 60p, Crepes £2.00.  All profits to Ashcombe Volleyball Club. Private BBQs are not allowed on the Big Field.

All Ashcombe sales are cash only Ashcombe VC has no facility for on line payments.

Volleyball kit and equipment sales  VBDC Sales will be on site on Sunday for all your volleyball needs including trainers, volleyballs, specialist volleyball kit and knee pads.

Bring your own gazebos for shelter from the sun [or rain] and don't forget the sunscreen [or waterproofs]. Children should be supervised at all times. There are several trees on the site, no climbing please. No gazebos or tents on Dorking RFC 1st team pitch immediately in front of the clubhouse.

The Ashcombe Tournament is run by Ashcombe Volleyball Club as our main fund raiser to support our Junior, County and National League teams and we hope to offer a great weekend of fun volleyball for all.
