BBC Sports Personality Unsung Hero closes on Sunday - nominate now.

There’s now just six days remaining to submit your nominations for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Unsung Hero Award and the Captain Tom Young Unsung Hero Award. The deadline is on Sunday at midnight. 

Last year over half of the regional winners came from the Sport for Development Coalition network, with all of them featuring on local TV and radio. Thanks to your amazing support we broke the record for the number of nominations received. 

This year Covid-19 has hit everyone hard, especially your organisations. However we believe now is exactly the right time to be shouting loud about the phenomenal work of your organisations in our communities! Please help us showcase this amazing sector….. 

That’s why we are providing two minute-long examples of Unsung Hero nominations, for you to watch and share with your networks.
