Birmingham 2022 mascot to be revealed soon.

Birmingham 2022 started their journey to create the #B2022 mascot back in July last year – and now it’s almost time for the big reveal.

To engage young people in the process Birmingham 2022 designed some lesson plans for Key Stage 1 and 2 (age 5-11) and Key Stage 3 (age 11-14), to inspire children to design their own mascot and learn more about their important role in major sporting events.  

The tailored teaching resources were suitable for classroom learning or home-schooling with the support of a teacher or parent. Mascot designs created as part of these lessons were then submitted to the Birmingham 2022 mascot competition.
