Clayton Lucas and his Exciting 2024!

We checked in with one of our fantastic ambassadors, Clayton Lucas, earlier this week, to see what he’s been up to recently, and what is on the horizon for him in the upcoming year.

Let’s just say, he’ll struggle to find time to sleep!

“I have just come back from commentating the Del Monte men’s super lega, Coppa Italia at the Unipol Arena in Bologna. I had Andrea Zorzi as my co commentator and it was incredible.

Next up will be the Women’s final 4 in Trieste, Italy on 17th and 18th February. 

After that attention turns to the conclusion of both the men’s and women’s Italian leagues.

The Beach Pro Tour gets going again in April, and before we know it the 2024 Volleyball Nations League will be on our screens via vbtv.

Then it’s off to Paris for the Olympic and Paralympic Games!!

At the time of writing this Vanessa and I are in Denmark visiting our middle son Ben Lucas who along with his girlfriend Abbey Hogan are playing their first season abroad with ASV Elite.

A very busy summer ahead which includes suit shopping with all three sons, Max  Ben and Theo, as we get ready for Theo’s wedding to his fiancée Amiel Calderon, whom he first met playing junior volleyball at New Forest!

The Cup finals in Italy are bucket list items, that I have the privilege to tick off.

Being on site is the best thing ever and for those people reading this who have yet to go watch Italian league volleyball……
what are you waiting for!!!????

Some of these teams are better than international teams and it’s by far the best way to watch.
A typical ticket costs 10 euro to watch a team play and there are several in Milan that are well worth watching.
A weekend to Milan and two matches of volleyball… an absolute must!
