Clubs back in Action

Today is a RED LETTER day for Volleyball, we are able to start to train again with adults inside, making sure we follow Volleyball and Government guidance.

Still lots of clubs putting on sessions outside as well. Here are just a few opportunities this week.

FROM NEXT WEEK

This weekend plans do not change - tomorrow and Sunday outdoor sessions are still on.

From the 18 of May, until the start of next season, these will be the Spelthorne VC training times. Hope too see all members at most of these sessions.

Of course, we will continue to follow COVID guidelines at all of our training sessions.

Richard Osborne will be going to South Hants sitting volleyball early tonight to make sure all the equipment is sanitised and that the COVID friendly net is put up for the first time.

Richard told us ‘It’s a red letter day for sitting volleyball as all club members are allowed to return to training! Hopefully, everyone has their impermeable net now and sanitisation pack and access to their facilities.’

It would be good to hear about your plans to return to training. Have you prepared your risk assessments and linked with your venue provider to ensure they have done one too?

Let us know how you get on with the new net and how everyone enjoyed their first session back.
