Volleyball England Foundation secure funding for Sitting Volleyball development

As the person who introduced sitting volleyball to this country back in the 80’s and a past chair of the Foundation it gives me great pleasure in offering congratulations to the Trustees on securing funding for the continued development of the sport.

I know that they have worked really hard during 2019-2020 period to find additional resources to ensure our sport remains totally inclusive and this initiative is testament to that determination.

This source of funding will also ensure that clubs around the country realise their full potential within the community by offering an inclusive programme which in turn will assist Volleyball England and the British Volleyball Federation to develop the country’s international men and women’s teams.The programme of funding will of course also help increase participation in the annual Grand Prix competition.
