FROM VOLLYBALL ENGLAND.

Following discussions with Government officials, British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) has been able to announce that indoor sports for students across higher education in England ARE - in certain situations - exempt from the ‘rule of six’.

Over 18s are only covered by the exemption for sport for educational purposes BUT this does include intramural, training, inter-university competitions and the HEVO programme

Head to the BUCS website to find out more about what this exemption does and doesn't cover

And visit www.volleyballengland.org/coronavirus to read through our plans for the safe return of indoor volleyball.

These plans, read in line with the Government's latest guidance, detail measures that should be taken by players, clubs, officials, volunteers, coaches and event organisers before, during and after all volleyball activity.
