Happy Birthday Ant Viggars.

Newcastle Staffs Volleyball Club want to wish a Happy Birthday to official club legend Ant Viggars!

Ant has been coaching in the club since the 1990s and was a standout player in the NVL through the late 1980s and through the 1990s twice finishing second in the NVL and twice reaching the National Cup final.

Such was his importance in the team that on his retirement they retired the iconic number 3 shirt from use in the men’s first team!
