How to support our Volleyball community through the Foundation
What are we about?
The Foundation’s Trustees are working to be able to secure additional financial support to help our network of clubs develop, educate and promote the health of individuals and groups through the sport of volleyball.
Our aim is to ensure the opportunity to play volleyball is available for all and not limited by income i.e. we are working to be able to give a helping hand when needed.
What can you do to help?
In addition to looking for grant funding the Foundation needs the support of our Volleyball Community to support through donations in order that we can allocate funding to groups and individuals.
The Foundation operates an application process, at the moment this is to support the development of sitting volleyball in community clubs.
Donations of any size will be gratefully accepted in order that we can further the aims of the Foundation.
Why should you donate to Volleyball England Foundation?
Volleyball is a totally inclusive sport enjoyed by all ages, both sexes and all cultures. It provides opportunities for both able bodied and disabled throughout the disciplines of beach/indoor and outdoor and also includes the Paralympic sport of sitting volleyball.
Volleyball is one of the top ten most popular sports by participation and is an excellent vehicle for team building and individual development.
Some ways in which the Foundation may be of assistance could be to
• Provide equipment
• Promote community participation in volleyball
• Financial assistance to individuals on the player pathway that struggle to meet the financial commitments of playing and training at the elite level
• Help disabled people e.g. to participate in volleyball or to train up as coaches.
