Hull Thunder launch their sitting programme

Hull and East Yorkshire Sitting Volleyball

Earlier this year 3 clubs were given a Volleyball England Foundation grant to establish a sitting volleyball team.

The three clubs, Leeds RGA, Manchester Marvels and Hull Thunder all received posts and nets and when they become available coaching and officiating courses.

The first club to put their new equipment to the test was Hull Thunder today, combined with the other clubs in the Hull and East Yorkshire Volleyball Association to offer a come and play session to anyone interested to try this dynamic inclusive sport.

There was an excellent turn out and the club thanked everyone that came down for this first Sitting Volleyball taster session. There will certainly be a few of use aching in the morning.

The next session will be advertised very soon. Hull are just looking to finalise things at our new venue.
