Great to see so many opportunities to play volleyball lest weekend, both recreationally and formally in competition.

Invicta Beach Volleyball Championships

Let's hear it for the first ever Invicta Beach Championships medalists! Well done to everybody who took part and battled throughout the most torrential rain we've seen in very long time.

Despite the appalling weather we were thrilled with how the tournament went and were so pleased to welcome players from as far as Wales as well as players from across the South East and London. Thank you to everybody who took part and made a day in the pouring rain very pleasant!

After the wonderful weather in recent weeks, we ventured to Canterbury for a beach competition. It absolutely belted it down all afternoon. Thanks to my playing partner Darren Young for inviting me to partner him. We came a creditable last place. Ben and Ryan Gunner came third. Good matches played in wonderful spirit.
