Meet Our New Trustee's - Peter Bakare

Peter Bakare

Born in Canning Town, London.

After playing basketball in college, Bakare was invited by his coach to play volleyball. He represented his college team, where he was then offered a professional contract in Holland with Landstede. Following his participation in the 2012 Olympic Games, he competed with Team Northumbria.

Off the court, Peter studied animation at Sheffield Hallam University through which he became involved in scriptwriting.

He has written for Channel 4 drama ‘Skins’ and has also acted and performed stand-up comedy.
