Share the Passion Workshop: A Day of Parent and Child Volleyball

October 2 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Parents: Have you ever wondered what skills your child has to master in order to play volleyball effectively? Are you aware of how coaches teach those skills to your child, and how your child can progress from beginner to intermediate player, and possibly on to an advanced level of competitive volleyball?

Athletes: Would you like your parents to understand just how difficult it is to master the skills of volleyball, and how hard you train in order to become a competent athlete in the sport? Would you like to share the fun?

Father/daughter, mother/son – or any mix – this four-hour workshop is the opportunity for both parent and child to learn about and enjoy the sport together on the court, under the guidance of qualified coaches. Parents can learn how to support young family athletes in their quest to become an advanced volleyball player. Athletes can encourage their parents to try their hand at the sport they love and maybe even become involved in local volleyball leagues.
