Athlete of The Year - and the winners are

Javier Bello & Joaquin Bello

Congratulations to Javier and Joaquin.

It has been a strange year with COVID 19 shutting down all sport by the end of March.

This didn’t stop Javier and Joaquin, who have ambitions to represent England in the Commonwealth Games in 2020. They took every opportunity to get back on court, whether on grass or sand and to maintain their fitness through a daily fitness programme.

This dedication now sees them win the TASS Athlete of the year award.

Congratulations to you both, a well deserved award.

In addition to their TASS scholarship they have been supported by a number of business and organisation such as the Rob George Foundation. “During lockdown training would not have been possible without their award, which allowed us to get some equipment to continue our preparation. Thank you so much and looking forward to continue working with you!” said the twins.
