Turning a negative into a positive - Juniors pouring into clubs

With the COVID restriction making life difficult for adult volleyball, clubs have been focusing on support ot introducing juniors to their clubs.

Wombourne Volleyball Club announced on twitter “Great to see so many juniors have signed up for this week’s session already! Remember, the sign up form must be completed to let us know that you are attending the session. If you are not currently a member and want to attend a training session please get in touch! “

Dartford Volleyball Club chair Tim Bown tells me “We have a massive interest from juniors at the moment.

We have 70 signed up since Sept.  Our coaches are running a weekly session in to groups. U15  and U18.  Getting 40 turn up each week.

Everyone is looking for something to do.  Big opportunity to attract juniors to Volleyball, assuming not locked down.

Newcastle Staffs juniors are enjoying being back at the club.
