Volleyball England Foundation AGM
Last week, as part of our good governance as a charity, the Volleyball England Foundation held their 2021 AMG.
As most organisation during this difficult time, we wanted to ensure the safety of our membership ,so we held our AGM remotely over Zoom.
We welcomed Adam Walker, Volleyball England Chair and Alastair Marks (new VE NED) to join us.
We had an open invitation for members of the volleyball community to join us and we please to welcome two members to sit through the meeting.
The business of the AGM, as expected, didn’t take long. We have no members of the Board up for re-election but formally welcome our 5 new members Andy, Mannie, Bev, Joelle and Steve, all of whom have been making a significant contribution to the Board since joining us in March.
The Impact Report for the last 12 months was introduced showing how the Foundation has support the volleyball family over the last difficult year.
Our chair, Simone Turner, thanked the Board for their continued efforts and the support of our volleyball family, who are the reason for the work we do.
Looking for a busy 2021/22 and supporting clubs to get back on court and enjoy the sport we are all so passionate about.
