Volleyball England Foundation has a key objective of supporting our volleyball community to develop and grow.

Our biggest challenge is ensuring we have resources to enable us to do this and support Volleyball England’s strategic objectives and aspirations.

To help us to do this, the committee, under the guidance of the chair, Simone Turner, have been developing our long term Fundraising Strategy.

The strategy is looking at a wide number of different fundraising options, these include

An Annual Event - we had hoped to run an event earlier in the year to help raise funds and the profile of the Foundation, unfortunately, because of COVID 19, this had to be cancelled. We are looking forward to developing a high profile event in 2021.

Legacy / Major Gifts - we are developing and hoping to have a more formal launch of our legacy programme. We have already had one person commit to leaving us a legacy - we hope for many more in the years to come. Find out more about our legacy programme here

Charitable Trusts / Grants -we continue to apply for funding from other organisations and trusts. At the moment we are trying to secure funding through the Ecclesiastical 12 days of giving . If you haven’t already nominated us please go to the website and help us gain another donation. Earlier in the year we secured £1000 from Ecclesiastical and another £2500 from the Bruce Wake Foundation. Both amounts will go towards the sitting volleyball campaign. We are investigating other funding pots that will help build the Foundations capacity.

Partnerships -Our first partnership has been part of our sitting campaign. World ParaVolley in partnership with Molten have donated 60 balls to the programme. We look forward to developing a number of other partnerships going forward.

All the items up for auction have been donated, so all funds raised will help support our volleyball community. Thanks to Kappa, Kingsland Drinks, Steroplast, Cardea Solutions, Peter Spens, Joyce Pemberton, Sportset, Ellisa Hague, the FIVB and CEV. Please find to to look at the items up for auction and place a bid.

Individual Giving - The Foundation are very grateful for the donations made by over 50 members of our Volleyball Family in support of our fundraising efforts. If you would like to make a donation or become one our our regular donators, please find more information here.

Gift Aid - as a charity we can benefit from Gift Aid on all individual donations,
