Great to see the COVID kitbags arriving at our Sitting Volleyball Clubs.

Richard Osbourne the Lead for Sitting Volleyball and Coach at South Hants Sitting Volleyball Club received their pack today and would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to Sport England for its Return to Play grant and to the Volleyball England Foundation for their continued support for sitting volleyball.

Richard said “ This PPE and cleaning equipment package, supplied by Steroplast, will ensure our return to training is as safe as possible.”

The packs contain equipment for keeping hands, the balls, the nets as sterile as possible and PPE equipment such as disposable gloves, aprons and face masks so team support workers are also protected.

One comment on Facebook said how heavy the packs are, working with Steroplast, we packed as much as we could into each bag to ensure there was sufficient equipment to last for several training sessions.

Kit bags will also be going to the National Volleyball Centre at Kettering so we can maintain COVID compliant regulations at our Sitting Volleyball competitions..

Once again the Foundation would like to thank Sport England for their investment to ensure sitting volleyball can get back on court in as safe an environment as possible,

If you would like some support from the Foundation to submit a Return to Play grant just let us know at foundation@volleyballengland.org
