Introducing new Board member No.4 - Bev Ward

Last weekend we welcomed our new Board members to the Volleyball England Foundation.

All have been through a rigorous recruitment process and it was great to get to the end with 5 amazing individuals who will bring a huge level of knowledge and experience to the Board.

Our 4th profile is of Bev Ward, who joins us with a background in Copywriting, Marketing and Event Management.

Bev is an award-winning marketeer, project manager and copywriter with 20 years of experience working in the sports industry across four sports governing bodies, commercial brands and at European and World events.

After launching her own consultancy, she has worked for a range of sports and healthcare clients including The FA, ukactive, FIFA, the Lawn Tennis Association, England Squash, Intelligent Health, Decathlon, Spire Healthcare, Virgin Active and adidas. More recently, She led The FA’s successful bid to bring UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 to England and she is currently funded by DCMS to lead the host city delivery of the tournament across nine English cities.

Bev is looking forward to bringing her passion for making a difference through sport to the Volleyball England Foundation in her first trustee role.

Outside of work Bev is a proud mum of a 2 and enjoys HIIT workouts, spinning and walking and is undertaking an annual walking challenges. She loves travelling, book clubs, theatre and camping with family and friends.
