Return to Play funding much needed equipment

South Hants Volleyball Club, the Volleyball England Club of the Year 2017 and the Hampshire Sports Club of the Year 2018 were successful, with the support of the Foundation, to receive £7,500 through Sport England The club prides its self on creating an inclusive, safe environment where children and adults of all abilities can learn and develop the skills of volleyball in a fun and challenging way. They have teams playing in the Men’s and Ladies National League, Local and County League, Sitting Volleyball teams and two junior volleyball squads. Inclusivity is key - there really is something for everyone from the age of 10 years upwards. Teams play in a large number of competitions and tournaments throughout the year both in the UK and abroad but if you simply want to play and train once a week then that is fine too.South Hants Volleyball Club

“The extra resources we have been able to secure, with the support of the Foundation, have been purchased with the RTP funding have proved invaluable. The quantity of balls purchased has enabled equipment to be almost used in a 1:1 ratio. The additional net and antennae stop sharing of equipment at session changeover.

The majority of the equipment purchased all lead towards the halting of sharing equipment within each session, including sanitation kits and ball carts for dividing used and clean volleyballs. “ said club coach Ryan Gunner.
