Volleyball England Foundation launch their Annual Appeal

Volleyball England Foundation Annual Appeal.

I hope, like me, you are looking forward to the Olympic Games starting today and seeing some amazing volleyball over the next couple of weeks?

As you know, in this country, Volleyball is currently viewed, as a development sport and so our performance pathway receives no support funding at any level. For many of our younger athletes in the performance programme finding the funds to remain on the pathway is often difficult, families having to find the resource to provide training fees, travel costs, competition fees and accommodation and for some families for several children.

As a country, if we want to compete at the highest level, some of these young athletes, with potential to be Olympians of the future, need financial support to remain on the pathway and reach their full potential in Volleyball.

This year we are appealing for your support to be able to ensure those young potential superstars of the future, don’t leave the programme because their families can’t continue to fund their passion for volleyball.
